President
The president as the
chief officer:
-
Informs the membership of
the position of the League on current issues and priorities and new
programs.
-
Fosters open communication
with the spiritual advisor on all League matters.
-
Presides at all meetings
and conventions of the council concerned.
-
Is a signing officer for
all official documents.
-
Provides active leadership.
-
Initiates policy, in
consultation with the officers of the council concerned.
-
Keeps fully informed on the
operation of the League and reports annually to the membership.
-
Is an ex officio member of
all committees except the nomination and election committee.
-
Is the official
spokesperson for her council.
-
Performs such other duties
as may be incumbent upon her office.
- Appoints

President-Elect
The president-elect:
-
Becomes president
automatically after serving her elected term as president-elect.
-
Performs the duties of the
president in her absence or inability to serve.
-
Is responsible for League
development and leadership training.
- Performs such other duties
as may be delegated to her by the president.

Vice-President
-
In the absence or inability
of the president-elect to serve, the vice-president performs her
duties.
-
In the temporary absence or
inability to serve of both the president and president-elect, the
vice-president performs the duties of the president and
president-elect respectively.
- The vice-president is also a
convener of a standing committee and performs other duties delegated
by the president.

Secretary
The secretary:
-
Records the minutes of all
meetings and conventions of the council concerned and retains a
permanent record.
-
Is a signing officer for
all official documents.
-
Has charge of all papers
and records of the council concerned.
-
Is responsible for reports
as required.

Treasurer
The treasurer:
-
Maintains the financial
records of the council concerned and has them appropriately audited or
examined annually.
-
Receives all League monies
and pays all accounts as authorized.
-
Is a signing officer for
all official documents.
-
Presents a report of
revenues and expenditures at meetings.
- Prepares and monitors annual
budget.

Past
President/Historian
The past president:
-
Serves in a consultative
capacity.
-
Is responsible for archives
and history.
-
Facilitates the study and
implementation of the Constitutions & Bylaws.
-
Performs other duties as
assigned by the president.
- Is convener of laws at
national level. (Article
XII, Section 1 (10))

CWL Parish Liaison
-
Liaises and
cooperates with pastoral councils.
-
Provides parish assistance.
-
Attends Pastoral Council
Meeting monthly.
-
Reports monthly Pastoral
Council activities at the next CWL general meeting.

CWL Funeral Lunch
Convener
-
Serves funeral lunches at
St. Charles Parish Activity Centre.
-
Provides services at
request of registered parishioners of St. Charles Parish.
-
Provides a hostess to greet
the family and guests upon their arrival at the luncheon.
-
Is responsible for
preparation, service and clean-up.
- Records all funerals,
including expenses incurred and monies received.

Conveners of Standing Committees
-
Acquire knowledge of and
fulfill the duties of the committee assigned.
-
Appoint a sub-committee to
share the work as needed.
-
Consult with conveners of
other standing committees to maximize team efforts and avoid
duplication.

Prepare and submit promptly
monthly and annual reports as required.
-
Are responsible for
long-term planning.
